Dr. Willis Britt
Willis Britt is a native of Natchez, Mississippi, as is his wife Brenda. They have two children, Keith and Amy. They are the proud grandparents of Gabriella. He is a graduate of Natchez High School, Millsaps College, Candler School of Theology, and Trinity Theological Seminary. On July 1, 2009, he was named Academic Dean of the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies after forty-five years of pastoral ministry in the Mississippi Conference of the United Methodist Church. Willis has traveled, studied and taught in the Middle East for twenty-four years. He holds membership in the Society for Biblical Literature and has contributed to Lectionary Homiletics magazine’s “The Lesson and the Land.” Willis is a regular lecturer for Educational Opportunities. His interests center on the geography of salvation, walking the lands of the Bible and New York Yankees baseball.
