David Welch

Director of Strategic Partnership Development and Senior Registrar

David Welch facilitates institutional travel partnerships for the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies and serves as VP for NTS Tours & Cruises. From 2016-2022, he oversaw study abroad as the Executive Director of LU Send, and also chaired the Global Security Committee at Liberty University during the COVID-19 Pandemic. David is a dual citizen of the US and Israel. He is a Certified Travel Industry Executive and holds an MA in Public Policy/Conflict Resolution from Tel Aviv University. He and his wife Rachel live in the Greater Nashville area with their children: Moshe (‘20), Tikvah (‘22) & Gidon (‘24).
