BEVERAGES & MEALS

· Coffee, tea, iced tea, and water are normally complimentary with your meals. Most cruise lines offer beverage packages that can be purchased for an additional charge.

· In addition to the main dining room, you also have the option to dine inside or at Oceanside, grab a burger hot off the grill, or visit the buffet as many times as you’d like.     Our deluxe touring buses are air-conditioned/heated.

    Currency in Israel is the Israeli shekel (NIS).  You WILL NOT need to exchange dollars to shekels.  The dollar is widely used and accepted.

DRESS CODE

The dress code on board most ships is “Smart Casual.” This means:

· Ladies: Pants, skirts, capris, shorts, with a shirt or blouse or dresses.

· Men: Pants, shorts, pullover, or button-down shirts. Nothing with rips, tears, or holes will be permitted in the dining rooms.

· During the cruise there maybe 1 or 2 formal nights that will give you the opportunity to dress up. Women may choose to wear a cocktail dress or pantsuit, and gentlemen will be required to wear a button-down shirt and sport coat in the main dining room. Buffets and outside restaurants are casual and smart casual even during the formal nights.

    Due to limited space on the motor coach, only one checked piece of luggage per person is allowed. One carry-on and one small personal item (purse, laptop, etc.) are also allowed.

NILE CRUISE

    Your deluxe cabin is individually air-conditioned and offers a large panorama window for your viewing pleasure from the comfort of your cabin.

·    Power supply is 220V.    

·    The top deck offers great viewing as you sail.

OURING PETRA

Your journey into Petra will involve a significant amount of walking. The walk from the entrance of this national park to The Treasury is approximately 2 miles downhill. There are electric cart rides available for an additional cost to the Siq.

You will see the Pyramids from a distance and also close up.  However, going inside the pyramids is not a part of the regular tour program.  Time permitting, those who wish to go inside the pyramids must speak with the tour guide.  Please remember an additional entrance fee will be required.

·    The interior tour is strenuous and involves climbing a steep incline.  During the climb you must often bend at the waist because the tunnel has a very low ceiling. The air becomes hot and stale as you climb upward. When you arrive at the end of the dark tunnel, you will find only one small, empty chamber. Cameras/Videos are not allowed.
