Day 1 Day 1 - Saturday, January 11: Depart USA
Depart the USA on your international flight.
Day 2 Day 2 - Sunday, January 12: Arrive Tel Aviv.
Transfer to Netanya on the Mediterranean shore. Overnight Leonardo Plaza, Netanya, at the city center and two blocks from the beach.
Day 3 Day 3 - Monday, January 13: Birth of the Gentile Church and the Childhood of Jesus
Caesarea (Acts 10), Lunch at Holyland Restaurant (Italian next to the Basilica), Nazareth. Basilica of the Annunciation. Overnight Caesar Hotel, Tiberias, on the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
Day 4 Day 4 - Tuesday, January 14: The Ministry of Jesus around the Sea of Galilee
Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee from Tiberias to Ginosar. Tour of Ginosar (first-century fisherman’s boat). Bethsaida, baptism of Jesus, and the calling of Peter, Phillip and Andrew. Lunch at Hermitage Restaurant on the Sea of Galilee. Free afternoon in Tiberias.
Day 5 Day 5 - Wednesday, January 15: The Ministry of Jesus around the Sea of Galilee II
Jesus’ ministry in Capernaum, with Peter’s house. The Mount of Beatitudes. Kursi. Lunch at En Gev fish restaurant. Tabgha. Magdala, with tour. Overnight Tiberias.
Day 6 Day 6 - Thursday, January 16: Retreat to “A Lonely Place”
Jordan River Valley. Kasr El Yehud (“Bethany beyond the Jordan”) opportunity for affirmation of baptism. Lunch at Al Rawdah restaurant outside under the trees. Visit Palestinian pottery and glass factory outlet (a major business enterprise of the Arab community). Overnight Kibbutz En Gedi in the Judea Wilderness.

Pray, read, visit the spa, go to the Dead Sea and experience its healing properties. Renew. Optional tour the kibbutz late in the day. Overnight En Gedi.
Day 8 Day 8 - Saturday, January 18: Zealots and Essenes
Masada. Lunch at Qumran. Qumran. Overnight Olive Tree Hotel, Jerusalem.
Day 9 Day 9 - Sunday, January 19: Worship in Jerusalem
Morning worship at Church of the Redeemer for Protestants and Notre Dame for Catholics. Holy Sepulcher. Lunch at Notre Dame. Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day 10 Day 10 - Monday, January 20: City of David
Temple Mount, Western Wall, Davidson Center (Temple Mount Excavations), Lunch on own in Jewish Quarter. City of David with 3D movie (2:30) and Hezekiah’s Tunnel. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day 11 Day 11 - Tuesday, January 21: Modern Jerusalem
Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum and Memorial. Lunch on own at Israel Museum. Model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus, Shrine of the Book (Dead Sea Scrolls museum), biblical archaeological museum. See many of the artifacts from sites you have seen over the course of your study tour. Overnight Jerusalem.
Day 12 Day 12 - Wednesday, January 22: Birth of Jesus
Bethlehem. Herodium. Lunch at The Tent in Shepherds’ Fields (Beit Sahour). Overnight Jerusalem.
Day 13 Day 13 - Thursday, January 23: Free day in Jerusalem.
