Dr. Ed Crump received his B. S. degree from the University of Memphis. He received his M. Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology, Emory University, and was awarded a Doctor of Divinity from Lambuth College. Ed did post-graduate studies in Homiletics and New Testament at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
The Reverend Crump served for 43 years under appointment in the Memphis and Tennessee Conferences of the United Methodist Church. He served also as a District Superintendent. During this time, he was elected as a delegate to numerous Jurisdictional, General and World
Methodist Conferences.
Ed is married to Sara, and he has four adult children, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three stepdaughters.
