Dr. Mark Ziese
Dr. Mark S. Ziese is Professor of Old Testament at the Cincinnati Christian University. Along with courses in Old Testament exegesis, he teaches grammar, ancient history, and archaeology. He holds degrees from Ozark Christian College, Cincinnati Christian University, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, and Andrews University. He has participated in archaeological fieldwork in the Middle East since 1984 and is a familiar face within the academic communities of Israel, Palestine, and Jordan. He is a Fellow at the Albright Institute of Archaeology in Jerusalem.
Mark ministers from the faith community of the Christian Church-Church of Christ. He speaks regularly in churches and schools, both at home and abroad.

Mark and Vicki make their home in Petersburg, Kentucky. There, on the banks of the Ohio River, they enjoy reading, tending a garden, and picking tunes. They have two grown children, Tanner and Moriah.
